PLAY Project with LCBDD

The logo for the PLAY Project which includes a red train with the letters P,L,A,Y in the wheels.PLAY Project Autism Intervention was developed by Dr. Richard Solomon, MD., who is a developmental pediatrician. It is a home-based intervention program for families who have a child that has been diagnosed with autism. Research shows this approach improves language and social skills in children with autism, and participation in PLAY Project Autism Intervention can reduce autism severity.

Trained PLAY Project Autism Intervention consultants teach parents techniques that are fun, effective and useful in their daily activities. They also focus on building a close and interactive relationship between parents and their child(ren).
