Natasha is a high school senior who is preparing to graduate from the Newark Digital Academy.  She is looking forward to being a part of Newark High School’s commencement and receiving her diploma with her classmates.  Natasha shared a few of her thoughts with us as she prepares to celebrate.

Ohio Public Images Campaign LogoEveryone has a story and they are all worth telling. Ohio Public Images’ 2016 awareness theme, “What’s Your Story,” is designed to capture the dreams, interests, abilities and personalities of people who have developmental disabilities.

In honor of Developmental Disabilities Awareness month, we want to share stories of Licking County citizens with developmental disabilities.  Our first story features Tanner Krupp.

Project SEARCH is a one-year internship program for high school seniors with disabilities, who aim to achieve competitive employment. The students will spend their entire school day on site with Licking Memorial Health Systems(LMHS). To learn more, please attend an Open House on Wednesday, February 24 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at LMHS.
