Wraparound Services

When a youth receives wraparound services through CFFC, the Council coordinates support for children and teens with developmental disabilities who are also involved in multiple service systems (often called multi‑system youth).

  • Each child is paired with a CFFC Wraparound Facilitator.
  • Their LCBDD Service Coordinator participates as part of the team.
  • Both organizations use a person‑centered approach to ensure families are connected with the services and resources that best meet their needs.

Clinical Committees

LCBDD plays an active role in CFFC’s Clinical Committees — collaborative teams of child‑ and family‑serving agencies that work together to:

  • Coordinate services for children and families with complex needs
  • Share resources
  • Identify service gaps in the community

These committees offer consultations to Licking County providers serving children up to age 21. Consultations are especially helpful for:

  • Children whose needs exceed standard agency services
  • Children not currently linked with adequate supports
  • Youth at risk of, or returning from, out‑of‑home placement
  • Children experiencing homelessness

Because committee members represent a wide range of organizations, they can work together to identify creative ways to use local resources effectively.

Trauma‑Informed Care

LCBDD also partners with CFFC through its Trauma‑Informed Care Committee, which promotes training, awareness, and education related to trauma‑informed practices across the community.
