Jason has more than 27 years of management and leadership experience in the developmental disabilities field. He has worked in service delivery systems in West Virginia, Texas and Ohio, serving in various capacities such as chief operations officer, regional director and vice president for privately operated organizations serving people with developmental disabilities.
Jason earned his doctoral degree in education (EdD) from Youngstown State University. He also holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and a Masters in Social Work (MSW) from West Virginia University.
Jason is currently president of the Region V Superintendent’s Association and president for the Mid-East Council of Governments. He also serves as a Board member of the Licking County Children and Families First Council. He has served on various other boards over his career.
He is a member of the Rotary Club of Newark and participates in various state and local workgroups. He was awarded the Betty Macintosh Award in 2021 and the Peggy Martin Advocacy Award in 2024.
He lives with his family in Pataskala.
