EMPOWERING PARENTS IN THE IEP PROCESS

4th Annual IEP CLINIC AND RESOURCE FAIR

Presentation by the Ohio Coalition for the Education of Children with Disabilities (OCECD

All about IEP’s, Assisting parents in navigating the Special Education Process.(Spanish and English versions will run concurrently)

* Gain Knowledge about IEP’s and Parent’s Rights

* Learn how to Work Collaboratively with school districts and agencies

* Learn Strategies to empower you to effectively advocate for your child

* Learn what to do if you disagree with the IEP

9 a.m. – 11 a.m. All about IEP’s, Assisting parents in navigating the Special Education

Process.

11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Resource Fair (over 20 vendors will be available)

11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Meet with a Parent Mentor to review your child’s IEP (Bring a copy of your child’s IEP)
