March of 2020 marked several years of significant changes as LCBDD responded to the COVID-19 Pandemic. With many LCBDD staff members working remotely or social distancing the agency’s primary focus was making sure people supported were healthy and safe while supporting families and caregivers. Other priorities included:

• Providing information to people we supported, providers and the community.
• Organizing resources and opportunities for people to connect virtually.
• Coordinating distributions of PPE and cleaning supplies.
• Assisting with the coordination of vaccine clinics.
