The Licking County Board of Developmental Disabilities has received a three-year accreditation from the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD).
This is longest accreditation period the state can issue to a county board of developmental disabilities and acknowledges that the services and supports LCBDD provides are in substantial compliance with state standards.
DODD representatives spent time at LCBDD in early April, reviewing files, meeting with staff members and some of the people they support and ensuring compliance with state rule.
“This accomplishment is a direct result of the quality work of our caring staff,” said Jason Umstot, LCBDD’s Superintendent/CEO. “Their dedication to the people they support is the reason for the exciting outcomes we see every day.”
