We are excited to share that Licking County Transit has launched two fixed routes, with a third planned for 2024.That means that anyone interested in traveling to any stop along the routes can follow a schedule and catch the bus at their convenience. This is a huge step for public transit in Licking County and will help people we support and their staff get to work, medical appointments and places they enjoy. For the rest of 2023, rides on these routes are FREE to all riders.
How to ride the bus:
Each bus on the route will have a bike rack and a wheelchair lift available.
Fixed route schedule:
The schedule runs from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Fridays. At stops with assigned times (such at the Licking County Library), the bus will stop and wait until the scheduled departure (which would be :14 after the hour.) The bus will only stop at “soft stops” if someone is standing at the stop or is on the bus and requests to get off there.
Please be at the stops below five minutes early:
Licking County Transit continues to offer on-demand rides. Here’s how to use that service
