We are excited to share that Licking County Transit has launched a fixed route along Main Street. That means that anyone interested in traveling to any stop along the route can follow a schedule and catch the bus at their convenience. This is a huge step for public transit in Licking County and will help people we support and their staff get to work, medical appointments and places they enjoy. For the rest of 2023, this fixed route is FREE to all riders.
How to ride the bus:
- Find nearby bus stops using the Deviated Fixed Route map (see text and image below.)
- Check the schedule – find out what time your stop is (see text and image below.)
- Get to the bus stop five minutes early.
- Reach out to our Dispatch Team for questions – 740-670-5185 (option #2.)
Each bus on the route will have a bike rack and a wheelchair lift available.
Fixed route schedule:
The schedule runs from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Fridays. At stops with assigned times (such at the Licking County Library), the bus will stop and wait until the scheduled departure (which would be :14 after the hour.) The bus will only stop at “soft stops” if someone is standing at the stop or is on the bus and requests to get off there.
