Although she’s completed the hospitality program at Knox County Career Center, Chrissy Emmenegger still has another step before earning her diploma.

At the end of the summer she will join the fifth class of Project SEARCH interns at Licking Memorial Hospital, where she will participate in three different internship experiences.

She’s hoping to improve her communication skills during the year-long program.

Chrissy, of Johnstown, attended Northridge High School before attending the career center. She participates in Special Olympics track and basketball, playing with a team that placed third in the state.

She also in nearing the end of her 4-H Career and has shown lambs and rabbits at the Hartford Fair.

Chrissy likes to hang out with friends and her fiance.

Her long term career goals are to own horses and be a horse trainer.
