A 50th anniversary is often described as a milestone, a journey, a legacy or an adventure. But ultimately, the celebration is truly about accomplishments.
Over the past five decades, our motivation has been to provide optimal supports to people with developmental disabilities and their families.
The way these services are provided has changed and continues to do so. But as we look back, we realize that every step has led to improved outcomes for
hundreds of people who trust us to always act with their best interests in mind.
As we prepare for the next 50 years, I commit to you that we will continue to be strong advocates for the citizens of Licking County who have developmental disabilities.
We will be progressive, do what is expected and be fully accountable to the public.
We value the relationships we have with the people we support and their families, the community, the providers, county and local leaders and the general public.
Together, we have created a strong foundation that we can build on for many years to come.
We are very fortunate in Licking County. Building off the legacy of the many people who have contributed to our mission is a tall order, but one that we are committed to as we focus on today’s needs to secure tomorrow’s future.
We are Licking County strong.
Thank you for 50 years of continuous support.
