Natasha is a high school senior who is preparing to graduate from the Newark Digital Academy.  She is looking forward to being a part of Newark High School’s commencement and receiving her diploma with her classmates.  Natasha shared a few of her thoughts with us as she prepares to celebrate.

Natasha had a wonderful experience at the Newark Digital Academy, “I felt like it was a place where everyone accepted me.  We joked around.  It was like a family.”  Natasha will attend Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) in the fall.  Her ultimate dream is to become a rehabilitation counselor to help children, and also help wounded veterans.  Natasha mentioned it is important to her to specifically help people with disabilities, and to use her own disability as a tool to do so.

Natasha appreciates her LCOUNTYDD Service Coordinator, Cheree, and Denise, her LCOUNTYDD Employment Specialist.  She mentioned they work together to connect her with resources and information she needs to accomplish her goals.
