Congratulations to Mike and Vicki Sussman who were presented the 2015 Vocational Service Award by the Rotary Club of Pataskala. The Sussman’s were nominated based on their work with West Licking Warrior’s Special Olympics. West Licking Special Olympics has served athletes in Western Licking County since 2003. The organization began with 8 athletes and now serves over 100 athletes in basketball, track, powerlifting, bowling, tennis, swimming, cheerleading and golf.

Athletes do not pay to participate in the West Licking Warrior’s Special Olympics. They operate on grants, individual and local business contributions. The Licking County Board of Developmental Disabilities is a proud supporter of both the West Licking Special Olympics and Licking County Special Olympics Teams.
