Raised in Fairfield County, Abby spent summers working at a camp for adults with disabilities while attending college at Ohio University.

After graduating from OU, with a bachelor’s degree in recreation studies, Abby worked as a services and supports administrator for the Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities.

She came to Licking County in 2005 and has worked as a service coordinator, team leader and performance development coordinator.

She also spent time working as an incident investigations manager for Public Consulting Group, a contractor with the Ohio Department of Medicaid.

She became LCDDD’s director of service coordination in March 2015 and became its Chief Administrative Officer in June 2023.
