
Alex Corwin
Alex Corwin began his role as Superintendent/CEO of the Licking County Board of Developmental Disabilities on Oct. 27, 2025.
With decades of experience in Ohio’s DD system throughout his career, Alex previously worked as a residential aide, job coach, adult day services manager, service and support administrator (SSA) and SSA supervisor. He oversaw the Ohio Transition Support Partnership for Ohio's Department of Education and Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD), which promoted transition planning for students with disabilities.
Before coming to LCBDD, he served as the Program Director at OCALI's Lifespan Transitions Center where he led statewide technical assistance and professional development efforts for schools, county boards and state agencies.  He also developed tools and resources for the Ohio's Employment First website and OOD's new Pre-Employment Transition Services curriculum.
He received his Master's in Public Policy and Administration from Ohio State University.  He lives in Worthington with his wife and two children.
