Licensed homes

What is a licensed home?

A licensed home is operated by a provider agency and services are provided based on the needs of the people who live there.

A person living in a licensed home must be enrolled on an IO waiver.

Each resident of a licensed home has a room and board contract with the provider agency stating that their Social Security check and a portion of their earned income will go toward their living expenses.

If you are living in a licensed home, you must use the provider who manages that home. If you want to change providers, you may do so, but you will have to move.
