Often, especially through this pandemic, I have reflected on how proud I am of the board staff. Never have I heard of any of our 85 employees not going out of their way to help and support the people we serve. This level of pride comes from a mutual feeling of respect, trust and loyalty which can be felt all over the office.

We have a tremendous responsibility, which everyone who works here takes seriously. We do our jobs with confidence and constantly work to improve, grow from what we have learned and always keep the people we support as our number one priority.

Earlier this year I was asked to come up with a word that describes our motivation. The word that came to mind was “innovative.” We are empowered to be creative. Over the decades, LCBDD has proven to be innovative and never hesitates to try something new and
challenging. That’s what we do because we start with knowing that anything is possible.

As we begin to wrap-up this whirlwind of a year, please know that I am proud of you. Thank you for being part of our dynamic team and for the work you do to ensure that our mission continues to guide us to always do our best to bring about the best outcomes for the people we support and their families.
