DESCRIPTION:Newark Summer Learning Academy                         “Academics through the Arts”   \nHosted By  Down Syndrome of Central Ohio \nIf you are looking for ways to build off the successes of the school year\, look no further than DSACO’s Summer Learning Academy. The primary goals of this program are to minimize learning loss\, improve math and reading skills\, and improve social development. New this year\, we are adding an emphasis on the arts. Our certified teachers use multi-sensory     techniques to meet the needs of all learners. Eight children with Down syndrome who have completed grades 2-6 will be accepted into this fun and engaging program.
